As part of its commitment to fostering the next generation of researchers, the Smart Textiles Platform Austria organized a “Workshop on Advanced Materials” within the framework of PREVIEW – Einblick in die Berufswelt at Gymnasium Lustenau.
PREVIEW is an initiative designed to give students direct insight into the professional world and to support them in making informed career decisions. By connecting academic education with practical experience, the program enables students to better understand professional environments and reflect on their own interests and aptitudes.
During the workshop, students were introduced to the field of advanced and smart materials, gaining insights into current research topics, innovation processes, and real-world applications. In this context, the Smart Textiles Platform Austria also represented ATIMA, highlighting the importance of advanced materials and cross-sector collaboration within Austria’s innovation ecosystem.
Through interactive discussions and practical examples, the workshop encouraged students to explore potential career paths in science, technology, and research.
