On 27 February 2026, the AM-Austria Working Group Norms & Standards met in Vienna, Austria, to discuss the role of standards in advancing additive manufacturing (AM) toward wider industrial adoption. 

Under the title “Norms & Standards Reloaded, the workshop renewed discussions on the importance of actively following and contributing to evolving standards to establish additive manufacturing as a reliable and accepted technology for serial production. 

The meeting highlighted the need for continuous knowledge exchange and collaboration within the AM community, bringing together experts to share experiences and perspectives on current standardisation developments. 

During the event, the ATIMA project was presented on-site with a roll-up display, strengthening its visibility and engagement within the additive manufacturing community.
