The Materials Day 2026 in Spielberg was organized by A2LT – Austrian Advanced Lightweight Technology and the ACstyria Mobility Cluster, focusing on lightweight design, material innovation, and circular economy for the mobility of the future. The event brought together representatives from industry, research, and technology development to discuss current trends and challenges in the field of innovative materials. A particular emphasis was placed on “Advanced and Innovative Materials” and their contribution to sustainable and high-performance mobility solutions. As part of a panel discussion, experts exchanged views on new material technologies and future developments.
ATIMA was represented on the panel by Andreas Falk (BNN) and Alexander Pogany, contributing their expertise on innovative materials and their industrial application to the discussion.
