On 20 May 2026, the flagship event “Carinthia Innovates” took place in Klagenfurt, Austria, under the motto “Conversation sparks Cooperation, Cooperation drives Co-Creation.” Organised by BABEG, the event highlighted Carinthia’s strategic approaches to business and innovation and provided a platform for exchange and networking among regional and international stakeholders.
ATIMA, represented by Andreas Falk (BNN), actively engaged with regional actors including the Province of Carinthia, BABEG, and KWF to discuss future pathways for circular advanced materials. A key focus was the integration of advanced materials into regional innovation strategies and the identification of opportunities for future development.
In addition, the European dimension of advanced materials collaboration was addressed through InnoMatSyn, which was identified as a relevant framework for strengthening links between Carinthia and the wider European ecosystem.
ATIMA’s involvement underlined its role in fostering dialogue between regional and European stakeholders and in supporting the strategic development of circular advanced materials within innovation ecosystems.
