The Biopolymer Team Meeting Q2 took place on 11 June at the New Design University (NDU) in St. Pölten, and brought together stakeholders from research, industry, and regional innovation networks. The meeting provided valuable insights into ongoing activities in the field of bioplastics, circular economy, and sustainable materials, including project updates from NDU, student contributions, and discussions on future collaboration opportunities.
Veronika Miron (BIZ-UP) contributed to the program with a presentation reflecting on the “Roadmap Sustainable Packaging & Food Processes” workshop and incorporated key aspects of the ATIMA project and the outlook on the ATIMA roadmap. This input highlighted the relevance of advanced and innovative materials within bio-based and circular solutions, underlining ATIMA’s contribution to strengthening cross-sectoral knowledge exchange and supporting the development of sustainable material applications.
