The European Commission recently convened a key meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration among initiatives focused on safe and sustainable advanced materials and technologies. BNN was invited to contribute in its roles within the coordination teams of the NSC Community and the SusChem Community (SCC), while also presenting the InnoMatSyn project and its links to the Austrian Advanced Materials Community, ATIMA.
Around 60 participants from across the European ecosystem worked together to identify and prioritize concrete actions and nominate organisations to lead their implementation. The initiative is expected to enhance coordination and cooperation across regional, national, and European levels, while also fostering stronger links between projects, initiatives, and other stakeholders.
A follow-up meeting is planned before the summer break. Through ATIMA at the national level and InnoMatSyn at the European level, BNN remains committed to creating synergies through coordinated collaboration and contributing to a stronger, more connected advanced materials community across Europe.
