At the AC-Styria Business Breakfast on 1 December 2025 in Graz, ATIMA actively contributed to shaping the regional dialogue on innovation in the materials sector. The event brought together industry representatives, researchers, and technology experts to discuss future-oriented developments in materials production and application.
Gerhard Hackl (ASMET) delivered a keynote presentation titled “The Use of AI in Materials Development and Materials Production”, offering participants an in-depth look at how artificial intelligence is accelerating design processes, enabling smarter production strategies, and supporting the transition toward more efficient and sustainable materials workflows.
In addition to the keynote, Gerhard Hackl also moderated a group work session, facilitating exchange among participants and encouraging collaboration on how digital tools can be integrated into industrial materials strategies.
Through these activities, ATIMA strengthened its role as a knowledge provider in the field of AI-driven materials innovation and increased its visibility within the Graz economic region.
