The 46th A2LT Plenary Meeting brought together 32 participants from research institutions, universities, and industry in Traboch, offering a well-balanced mix of expert insights, company tours, and networking. Attendees gained an in-depth overview of current developments in lightweight materials and technologies, including automated material characterization, advanced composite solutions for frequency applications, and AI-driven surface testing methods. New material innovations such as toughened PA6 composites and lightweight design strategies for commercial vehicles were also presented. A guided tour through 4a provided hands-on insights into state-of-the-art testing, simulation, and manufacturing technologies in lightweight engineering. The event created an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration within the Austrian lightweight community.
