Our organisation
V-trion GmbH is a research institution that acts as the supporting organization of the Smart Textiles Platform Austria. The company is based in the Millenniumpark in Lustenau, Austria, and is known as the Institute for Textile Research & Innovation.
V-trion GmbH coordinates the platform and is dedicated to research, development and the strategic initiation of cooperation projects. Together, they promote interdisciplinary cooperation, access funding and create synergies in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the textile industry and bring pioneering products to market.
Our role in ATIMA
As part of the Austrian ATIMA initiative, V-trion GmbH supports the development of innovative materials, particularly in the field of smart textiles. It promotes research projects and contributes expert knowledge in areas such as piezoelectric textiles and functional materials to drive innovation in materials science.
