25.nanoNET-Austria Meeting (22.10.2025, Lustenau, Austria) – nanoNET-AT

ATIMA_25-nanoNET-ATmeeting_4

The 25th nanoNET-Austria Meeting was embedded in the Millennium Innovation Days (m-i-d.io) and organized with the support of the Smart Textiles Platform and the FFG project ATIMA. This enabled us to reach an audience beyond the circle of members and interested parties of nanoNET-Austria, namely the Austrian nano community.

At the start of the Research & Innovation Program, we presented current developments in key technologies from the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility, and Infrastructure (BMIMI). This was followed by presentations on quantum technologies and their applications in the field of nanotechnology. We covered a wide range of topics, from the manufacture of high-tech materials to the structuring and realization of components, and described the path to innovative products.

  • Current developments in key technologies; Alexander Pogany, Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI)
  • Expanding Silicon’s Potential: Ultra-Low-Temperature Epitaxy for Innovative Applications; Moritz Brehm, Johannes Kepler Universität Linz
  • Scalable Al-Ge Hybrid Heterostructures for Next Generation Superconducting Quantum Devices; Francesco Maraspini, TU Wien
  • The Next Wave of Innovative Products Powered by Quantum Effects; Jan Niehaus, Fraunhofer
  • Report on the activities of nanoNET-Austria – End of the 25th nanoNET-Austria Meeting; Rudolf Heer, nanoNET-Austria
